LETHBRIDGE LAUNCHES THE BREEZE

L.A. Transit, operated by the City of Lethbridge, Alberta, is the latest transit system to launch the complete BEA fare collection system. Known as “The Breeze” card, the system includes ll of the functions of previous Canadian systems and adds multi-lingual capability for the first time. Messages can be delivered in any of up to 16 languages.

REGINA TRANSIT ON THE ROAD

The City of Regina selected BEA Transit Solutions for the implementation of a contactless, smart card-based, automatic fare collection system. BEA proceeded with the installation onboard 109 conventional buses (the complete Smart Farebox) and 35 specialized transit (Paratransit) minibuses (Portable Handheld Readers).

SASKATOON SELECTS BEA

After a competitive tender process, BEA Transit Solutions was awarded a contract from the City of Saskatoon in Saskatchewan Canada, for the supply, installation and commissioning of a smart card fare collection system for a fleet of 135 conventional and 21 specialized transit buses.

KINGSTON TRANSIT GOES LIVE

BEA Transit Solutions commissioned the new Automatic Fare Collection system designed and manufactured for Kingston Transit.

BRANTFORD TRANSIT LAUNCHES FIRST COMPLETE BEA SYSTEM IN NORTH AMERICA

Brantford Transit launched its new contactless based Automatic Fare Collection system designed and built by BEA Transit Solutions into revenue service in December 2007.

CONTRACT WITH THE ST. JOHN’S TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION AWARDED

Following a competitive tender process, BEA Transit Solutions was awarded a contract by the St. John’s Transportation Commission, in St. John’s, Newfoundland, for the supply, installation and commissioning of a smart card fare collection system for the 54 vehicle Metrobus fleet.
